These chapters recount King Jehoshaphat’s alliance with King Ahab, leading to a disastrous battle despite prophetic warnings from Micaiah. Ahab is killed, while Jehoshaphat narrowly escapes and returns to Judah. Back home, Jehoshaphat reforms the judicial system, urging leaders to act with integrity and reverence for God.

Aligning ourselves with ungodly influences can lead to serious consequences, even when intentions seem good. Yet God also offers restoration, calling us back to justice, humility, and faithfulness.
