Acts 13 marks the beginning of Paul and Barnabas’s first missionary journey, sent out by the Holy Spirit from Antioch. They preach in various regions, including Cyprus and Pisidian Antioch, boldly proclaiming Jesus as the fulfillment of God’s promises. While many Gentiles receive the message with joy, opposition from some Jewish leaders leads Paul to turn more directly toward the Gentiles.

God’s mission often advances through both openness and resistance, yet His purposes are never hindered. When faced with rejection, we can trust that God is still guiding us toward those ready to receive His truth.
