Paul arrives in Jerusalem despite repeated warnings that suffering awaits him there. He meets with church leaders, participates in purification rites, but is eventually seized by an angry crowd who falsely accuse him of defiling the temple. Roman soldiers intervene, rescuing Paul from the mob and giving him an opportunity to address the people.

Faithfulness does not always lead to comfort; sometimes obedience leads directly into hardship. Like Paul, we are called to follow God's will even when we know the path ahead will be difficult.
