After Hezekiah reopens and repairs the temple, he invites all Israel and Judah to Jerusalem to celebrate Passover. In his letter, the king calls the people to return to the LORD, reminding them, “…the LORD your God is gracious and compassionate, He will not turn His face from you if you return to Him.” This passage reveals God’s heart toward His people—when we return to Him with a heart of repentance, He meets us not with rejection or disappointment, but with grace and compassion. No matter where we are today, God’s invitation is open.
