"Can you find out the deep things of God? Can you find out the limit of the Almighty?” (v7).  Zophar, like Job’s other friends, accused him of “babbling” and testing God’s patience with “a multitude of words” (v2).  Zophar believed Job should stop questioning and repent (v14).  Trying to understand the “deep things of God” was pointless.   But Job had to endure suffering in his own honest and talkative way.  No matter what it looked like to others, Job knew that he had been faithful to God, and his troubles did not make sense.

 God doesn’t always tell us the “secrets of wisdom” (v6).  He wants us to trust Him even through our times of doubt and lack of understanding.
