In 2 Chronicles 2, Solomon begins preparations to build the temple for the Lord and a royal palace for himself. He organizes a large workforce and reaches out to King Hiram of Tyre for skilled laborers and quality materials, especially cedar and cypress timber. Hiram agrees to help, recognizing God’s favor on Solomon, and the two establish a cooperative partnership for the project.

This highlights the importance of preparation and seeking help from others to accomplish God-given tasks. It reminds us that honoring God often involves both careful planning and humble collaboration.
